Words from Anna

My sweet Anna-bear. I had to write down some words that came out of your little 4-yr-old mouth yesterday. I was in the kitchen buttering some bread and I heard you say,
"Mom, I am rich."
I said something like, "Cool, babe," not quite sure what you meant.
"I have my favorite Boy living in my heart," you said.

The other day at Panera you informed me that your favorite boy in the whole world was Jesus.
"But, He's everybody's favorite boy. Except maybe Satan," you said to be exact :)

Oh precious girl, how your faith spurs me on; more than you'll ever know.

Darling Norah, you are 2!

My beautiful girl, Norah Rosey...  I can't believe you are two.  Just look at that face!  You are simply bursting with life.  You make simple things so beautiful to the rest of us just by your explosive excitement about them.  You love the opening scene of the Lion King, marshmallows, your sister, singing and dancing, using your little potty, seeing your daddy come home from work, and (I feel so lucky) me as well.  

Our Lord knew what He was doing when He gave us you.  What in the world would our little family do without the love and acceptance you bring to us every day?  Thank you, my darling girl, for who you are.  Thank you, Lord, for these two years.
